Hi friend! People often ask me what they need to start making YouTube videos. A lot of people think they need to spend tons of money on fancy camera equipment. Not true! I’ve come up with a way to get started for less than $50 (USD).
If you have the budget for a camera, go for it! (I’ll list a few recommendations in a moment). But you don’t need one to get started.
These days, the cameras in our smartphones are great and make nice looking videos. So if money is tight, you can get started NOW for nothing (just using your phone). If you have a little bit to spend, you can get a few essentials for less than $50 that will make a big difference in your videos.
In the end, people often use gear as an EXCUSE not to start. They’re letting fear stop them from moving forward and blame it on lack of gear/money.
This is no longer an excuse! So get out there and start making videos.
