Is there something you want to create or accomplish, but you’ve been sidetracked or distracted?
Or maybe you’ve experienced a setback of some sort.
I read something the other day that stuck out to me. I think it was in Bob Goff’s new book “Dream Big”, which I just finished yesterday, but can’t remember for sure (I often have a few books going at the same time).
Side note: Dream Big is a great book! Grab a copy here.
Here’s what stuck out: You can’t change your location overnight, but you can change your direction.
It’s not something new, but sometimes we need to be reminded of things we already know.
You didn’t get to where you are overnight, and you can’t change your location overnight. But you CAN course correct so you’re headed in the right direction.
So what does that look like for you?
Maybe you’ve been wanting to start a business or try something new in your current business. Maybe it’s a career change or some training/coaching.
Or maybe you’ve been neglecting something in your life (your health, a relationship, your finances, a side business or project, etc.) and it’s time to get back on track.
Whatever it is (and there might be more than one thing), don’t stress out about how far off course you are. Just resolve to start making small corrections and take action.
Action breeds momentum and momentum creates change.
